A tip of sorts for the LPGA event in Portland this week. Andrea Lee the defending champ can be backed at 50/1 which is overpriced to my eye. It's a stacked field but her latest form has been on point too. Two top tens in recent Majors and top 20 in nearby Canada last week. Worth an e/w punt I reckon.

I am on Charley Hull. Been superb recently and well due another win. Trading value at 22/1 on the exchanges seems decent to me.

Bit gutted for Keegan Bradley in that, he's been playing great but I understand the JT inclusion for the Americans. Some players just have the intensity for match play that you can't teach.

I think the Europeans will be pleased with them wildcard picks, JT may have had it in the past but there is nowhere to hide when your game has gone.

I wouldn't put it past Georgia Hall to light up Portland as has found some form recently after a poor run. Also a former winner at this tournament. 28/1 not a great price considering, and overall has not progressed as much as would have been expected after the glorious afternoon at the British Open at Royal Lytham some years ago which I witnessed first hand.

I wouldn't put it past Georgia Hall to light up Portland as has found some form recently after a poor run. Also a former winner at this tournament. 28/1 not a great price considering, and overall has not progressed as much as would have been expected after the glorious afternoon at the British Open at Royal Lytham some years ago which I witnessed first hand.

I was looking at Hall, might even still have a look. She seems more settled in her personal life now, which is probably helping.
