I never had a hacksaw until the other day lol then was busy, tonight it will be job number one out of like 3.

I was under the impression that it wasn't a broken bog seat per se, rather a seat fixture fitting that was causing issue and needed replacing.

I didn't want to get into the specifics for fear of setting the poor lad back a couple of weeks and kicking off all of those well meaning GOTers trying to send him off to various DIY outlets for long stands, left handed spanners and tartan paint.

Just jumped into this thread today only to find lots of people talking about a toilet seat!? Thankfully, your post was referring to photos of Goodison and not a toilet seat.
As for the seat, it had better be fixed before the next game or there will be an army of angry plumbers looking to plunge somebody's u-bend lol
