EDF lad
Walking past yesterday I saw very little noticeable sign of any extensive work on the exterior of the ground. All looked very much the same.
There was scaffolding inside the ground (up to the main stand roof) and a scissor lift parked near the Bullens, but not much else of note.
Obviously it was a Saturday so wouldn't have expected people to be working, but would have expected to have seen more sign of development.
The work on the towers will be starting next week. Designing the connections for them today.
Won't that clash with the new signings announcements? The work on the towers will be starting next week. Designing the connections for them today.
The statutory expiry date is 11th August 2016
That means if LCC don't give a decision by then then EFC can make an appeal to get it fast tracked.
That means sometime during week of 12th August 2016 at the latest - they should be starting the major work regardless if not sooner.

.... cant say for sure but they gave us the loads for the structures today wanting the connections done for tomorrow (hasn't been done) with he aim to of being on site Monday apparently
So its likely they (EFC's planning application specialists) know they'll be hearing back this week on it from within LCC.
I doubt it will get rejected in any event as its an attempt to improve the look of the area.
Yeah. Highly doubt there would be any objections even from local residents.
