Might have been mentioned already but I read on the nsno forum that it's taking longer to do the work than expected because the original cladding is in bad shape.

new stadium is guna take at least 2-3 years

if your house was falling apart, and you started building your dream house down the road, would you just carry on in the current house, living with the hole in the bedroom window and the gaps in the floorboards, or would you "patch them up"

he is trying to improve all parts of the club, including the part that any new players/business partners/investors etc etc will see for the next few years

he is actually doing this all in the right way, but people still need to find a problem...doing my nut in

If he was making structural changes to the ground as it was unsafe, then yeah....good point. Put hes sticking plastic on the outside of it. I certainly wouldn't be painting the outisde of my house if I was building my dream house down the road. Especially if I couldn't even sell my old house on.

I think his commitment to doing goodison up, when its technically a waste of money, shows he is not messing around

its the symbolic face of the club, so lets give it a touch of make up eh
