Goodison Statues

Should the statues at Goodison stay, be moved to the new stadium or replicas made?

  • Kept in situ

  • Kept in situ but replicas made for BM

  • Originals moved to BM

I personally think they should stay. Can't just allow the site to have no relation to us at all by flattening GP and taking the statues. That being said I also see the other side of the argument. I'd like Everton to just commission more new ones for BMD. Could have new ones of Dixie and HT, along with some legends of the 80s team etc.

That will cost a fortune ..... but an idea - the ones we leave will be decimated ....

They only ever get vandalised once in a blue moon now (same as the RS statues), that won't really change once we move. Especially with us continuing to have a presence in the area. St Lukes/EitC/local fans will see to them being kept well enough

Will costs buttons to give them a proper clean every year or 2.

Never paid any attention to them myself personally, but they do attract fans for pics etc, so I pretty much expect them to be moved as part of the experience of the surroundings of the new ground.

Hi all. It was my nephews 1st everton match against West ham on Saturday. He wanted the everton v West ham matchday pin badge to keep as memory of his 1st match, does anyone know if I could get one.
