That was me a month ago mate.... Lost a stone in weight so far.... Another stone to go.

I'm not that fussed about time at the moment as I know I'm carrying probably 15-20 pound excess weight..... It's all about getting the miles in the legs and building stamina at the moment....... Bare in mind, I'm 38 now so it don't come off as easy as it used too.

Keep going jockles lad.... You'll get there xxxx

I'm 90.4kg and 5'10" and it all sits on my belly. Honestly, side on I look pregnant. My target is 76kg or 12 stone dead on. Not set a time frame like but I want to be there by the end of the year.

This week I've not had any fried food at all, no crisps, no fizzy drinks and I've swapped to wholemeal bread. Cut out chocolate completely too and booze. My aim is to stay off everything until Southampton, that's going to be my cheat day.

I don't drink pop really and I'm not a lover of chocolate either but I'm a bugger for snacking...... Bought myself an Acti-fry for Xmas so I make chips in that once a week with just a teaspoon of oil..... I do eat lots of fish and chicken and veg too..... On a weekend I'll have a couple of beers but have cut that out massively too.... I'm 6 foot 1 and a stocky build anyway but want to get to between 14 stone 7 and 15 stone.... I'll get there.

This is how bad I am! I completely forgot I'd posted in here and asked for some advice!

Since my first post in this thread, I'm ashamed to admit, I've done the grand total of eff all!

Thanks to Kiwi, Evilweb and Blue4Eva for your suggestions though. I will certainly bear them in mind for when my next fitness endeavor gathers a bit more momentum!

I'm 103kg and six three. I need to lose 7kg in an ideal world.

Just seems to get dead difficult once you're beyond 35. The fat likes to stick around.

Put down the pork scratchings la and pull on your short shorts and get jog-ready!

Seriously though, I'd recommend taking up jogging. The weight will fly off. Get yourself a decent set of headphones, load up the mp3 player and off ya go!

I can't job mate, I'm rubbish at cardio unless Im chasing a ball.

I'm overweight too much like. Just would like pure six pack screaming out every time I take my top off on the beach.

Mind you I'd also like Kelly Brook to let me finger her.

With you on the fingering, although I'd be happy with a fondling of her fine norks.

I'll never have a six pack, but a nice flat stomach would be nice!

Just been for a 5km run to indoor football, then run back. Close to calling the ambulance, I am so unfit. Got a running machine in the living room as well now. I'm about 98kg (6'3" though) so need to lose a few kgs that are sitting in the wrong places. Recovery is the worst though, I'm nearly 29, which isn't old or anything, but I'm quickly realising I need to actually warm up and stretch a bit more than I did when I was 19

Did 60km on the bike yesterday, and took the other half for a swimming lesson in the evening. Very quickly get tired out in the pool these days. Technique is still there but the swim fitness isn't.

Set for another 60km endurance session later this evening.

Swimming knackers me like, I don't think I have a great technique which doesn't help. Used to go to the pool a couple of days after a cricket game when I was playing a higher level and run a few k's in it, really good on the joints.
