My sister is doing a PHD in Kinesiology and has given me a list of a load of foods which are high in protein and just generally good stuff. Only found half of them and I'd been especially ruing the lack of quinoa.

yeah, bear in mind though mate, it's quite bland, like rice really, pretty versatile though and goes with anything

it's an ideal source of subsistence on your quest for physical perfection though mate

My gym is literally a 2 minute drive from my house and I can park right outside. That really helps me to go.

Is there no other little independent gyms around where you live? Those gyms are sometimes the best tbh.

No mate. Shocking isn't it. Well there is one but I am not queueing up to use equipment

If it's good stuff then I don't mind if it's bland at all. Just woof it down mate.

Here's a tip to make quinoa more palatable

1. First dry fry the quinoa for about 5 mins - no oil.
2. Remove quinoa from pan - add coconut oil
3. fry chopped chilli/ginger/spring onion/couple of chopped cherry tomatoes
4. add quinoa back in pan
5.add boiling water just enough to cover the mix or use a very weak chicken stock mixture
6. bring to boil and simmer for 10 mins
5. serve with chopped pre-cooked chicken or I had it with a can of crabmeat today and some steamed broccoli or asparagus

Yum-Yum ....Quinoa sorted

Its truly an ace food - a true total protein containing all essential amino acids
