Just bust my ribs wrestling, can't move or breathe properly, in proper agony. I don't think I will be seeing a gym for a while.

Ouch. Cracked or bruised do you reckon mate? Agony like. Sleep with a pillow either side of you so you don't roll over in the night. One of the worst and persistent pains I've had that.

Not sure yet mate, hopefully bruised but feels worse at the moment. Cheers for the advice, I will do that.

Nothing is worth this pain mate. 1.30am and can't sleep.!!!

It's one of the most horrible pains going and hate to say it, but you'll know it like, it will get worse over the weekend. Pillow either side so you can't roll over and go and see the doctor mate. There's not much they can do but you'll get pain killers which will help and it's good to have an x-ray as it can develop into other things. Minute risk like but got to be careful with it.

Sympathising here though.

Chico clearly likes to wrestle with the larger ladies too :)

I've had bruised ribs from sparing years ago, it's not fun. Thankfully not broken ones though. Have you had an Xray done?

Make sure you google and find out what people do to keep the pain down

No mate I will see how it goes. Just pain killers I think mate.

Trust me get an x ray, chico wrote a really good post there on why. it's very much better to be safe, and cracked ribs vs bruised ribs will give you a different recovery time.

And for the love of god, do not laugh or put your self in situations where you might feel the need to! Avoid anything remotely humorous, it's bloody agony! And sneezing is TERRIFYING!

a few years ago I would of just let them heel and been bang at it again, now I'm thinking about hanging the gloves up as they say. Will probably give the doctors a bell tomorrow and get some pain killers.

Ive had quite a few injuries in the past, neck, shoulders, elbow, knees but this one is the worst pain.
