Since the beginning of August only about £260 has been donated, that is nothing like enough to keep this site going.................boys we have problems because so few are getting their wallets out.

As the Blue room closed because of rowdiness and unmanageable posters I wondered if the club might consider adopting us as their official chat room. Though some complain that the mods are far too tough and the language used is overly limited here to me it allows great debate for all who take part, if it doesn't suit you then sod off elsewhere. GOT is a fantastic role model which EFC may well desire as their chat room. I haven't got a clue who you'd approach but some may have an idea as to who holds the influence. The only thing we should insist on is autonomy but also work for the benefit of all us blues.

How about the players? They should have a few bob, but don't ask Osman and Hibbert after all the stick they have had here over the years. ps is any one meeting me to take my money at the next home game?

yeah, get the players to pay 'donations' in return for the Mods deleting derogatory comments about them.

Kone, Howard and Barry could finance this board well into the next century at 50p a delete.

Nice one monty, hope all is well with you mate.

You nailed it with the last sentence, we couldn't accept anything from the club even if they wanted to for that reason.

I'm hoping to find a local business to sponsor us, about 700 quid a month would cover all our costs and they'd get about 15m advert loads for it.

Combination of the two - as I understand it, the advertiser selects their bidding method when submitting to google, who then display on here.

I think I've got the right balance mate - it's important to not overdo it and annoy everyone.

A lot of websites/forums turn on autoplay videos and have really big distracting adverts because they pay more but I think they'd just discourage people and make more people turn adblock on.
