Rollins beating up Wyatt in the Fun house was worse than Hell in a Cell, embarrassing writing....

This is a feud that absolutely shouldn't have happened at this stage, it's damaged both of them badly as a result... Bray should have stayed away from the title picture until Wrestlemania.... Enter as Number 30 in the Rumble, come down destroy everyone and then challenge lesnar of Rollins at Mania... And win the Title...
 
Finally watched the first two episodes of are weekly....
Got to say I hadn't realised just how awesome jericho is.
Really dig Cody and think Darby allin is pretty impressive.
Hager and moxley are solid and interesting.
Not a fan of the Young bucks, there just a bit silly for me.
Only downside so far is the amount of non skippable adverts on the itv app.....I can live with them when watching live/on scheduled tv, but streaming after it's already been shown? Bit annoying

Bichoff has been future endeavoured by WWE!

That company is an utter embarrassment at this stage. They get Bichoff to compelty uproot, move to Connecticut, give him zero creative control then sack him off in favour of the ultimate yes man Pirchard. They don't want an Executive Director or anything else, they want lap dogs who oversee the shows to entertain the whims of a 74 year old doddering idiot. I suppose Pirchard is the better choice here, he knows how to kiss VKM's arse and produce shows that will make the old fool happy even if they infuriate everyone else.

Nobody can fix WWE while Vince McMahon is calling the shots. The guy is making his own company unwatchable.
 
Cant blame Vince for all of WWE's problems. The Benoit incident pretty much sealed the end of WWE as we once knew it - I just dont think Vince knows how to make the PG era entertaining - its why so many like the Fiend as it is a throwback to the old days when fans believed a character like the Undertaker/Kane/Mankind were genuinely messed up.

Actually we should, because he is 100% the person who deserves the blame for the currant state of WWE.

Nah not having that. You can't the Benoit episode for the garbage writing, the lack of consistency, the endless mega pushes of the wrong people and the holding back of fan favourites. Vince McMahon micromaanges everything in that company to a ludicrous degree. Nothing happens with or without his say so.

He doesn't know how to make anything entertaining anymore, period, and he hasn't for well over a decade at this point.

Its not like he 100% sticks to the PG rule is it? I mean that embarrassing trash cuckholded husband storyline being so heavily featured on their flagship show is hardly PG is it?

The reason WWE is pure garbage is because Vince McMahon only wants shows that he finds entertaining and micromaanges everything to be 100% his vision, ge surrounds himself with yes men who'll just agree with him and tell him everything he wants to hear. On the very rare occasion that he'll permit somthing that isn't his creation to flourish he'll do it very begrudgingly and look for a reason to can it.

There's a reason that NXT/NXT UK are the only decent and watchable programmes WWE are putting out right now and its because VKM has the minimum involvement.

Perhaps we were spoilt with talented writers during WWF/WCW?

I don't think any wrestling brand has been entertaining for a while including the likes of TNA when it was making waves and the new one AEW is it?

I think back then you had genuine quality performers who had fantastic mic skills and quality writers in an era you could push boundaries. - now its all soft imagine having someone caught in a bear trap or a roof falling through onto them like when Stone Cold ambushed DX - couldn't get away with it on TV these days with all the snowflakes.

We'll never know if the Benoit incident was the main factor or simply the change in society with social media amplifying the snow flakes but the days of genuine entertainment are long done thats why I rarely bother.

Wyatt shouldn't be in any title picture at all. He doesn't need to be. Certain gimmicks going after titles and glory makes no sense.
 
AEW need to be careful that they don't create an environment where fans expected mega showdowns every single week. That's not a workable long term strategy. I've loved all three shows so far but I think they need to slow down a bit. It just seems like every weekly show has had a PPV feel to it and as great as that is they won't be able to do that every single week.
 
NWA Power is my favourite thing in wrestling right now. Really cool, retro show that's only about an hour long per episode. It may only be two shows in but I'm seriously interested in everything they've done so far. Love the studio set-up.

Nick Aldis is easily the most convincing and believable world champion in the business right now.
