GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I don't agree with that tbh. Like any TV show or film, it works better when you actually give a crap about the story and the people on screen. The Bucks are gymnasts, and I'm not even sure they're good ones

I mean yeah, you can care, but its also obviously not real

People cry about it nothing believable that Darby could have beat Mox last night but end of the day, it’s fake and you get wrapped up in a good show for a few hours

Just enjoy it

Yeah, but neither is the Avengers. Take out the dramatic tension, story and slightly believable special effects and it wouldn't be as popular. I prefer to feel at least slightly invested in it. The Bucks take me completely out of it and I usually skip past their matches now unless I like someone else in the match

Fair enough. Just sort of done with the 'it has to be real/believable for me to join it' patter these days. It's not, it's fake, and it's supposed to be fun.

Stadium Stampede match the obvious example

Ah yeah, like if people like the flippy stuff it's grand. Can only speak to what I like in wrestling. I like FTR and big hard hitting looking stuff. I hate big groups of lads pretending to be dazed waiting outside the ring to catch someone. The Bucks epitomise that for me.

I loved Kamala, he was great at playing the gimmick.

Preferred him more as the monster heel rather than the comedy act but he excelled at both.

The guy was a pretty good athlete too, was watching his (second) WWF debut earlier today and the reaction the crowd gives to his leapfrog is great.

Tremendous entrance music too.
