GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread


AEW hardcore fans are just the best. The actually slay me they're that mental. Two morons put on the worst match imaginable, an actual embarrassment to the business where they quite literally risk their health for the sake of a cringeworthy spot drink each others blood only to be met with "this is awesome" chats from the peanut gallery. Yet the the same morons chatting that scream hysterically and demand the public execution of Ric Flair for being Ric Flair and cutting his typical promo just because "He's disgusting and old!"

Its what happens when you get a generation of people that take what's written in the dirtsheets as gospal truth. The hate he gets is so bizarre and it was there even before AEW, the amount of people that took honest joy in him losing his two UFC fights was incredibly odd. Sneering at a guy for a "pathetic showing" and acting like they'd have the stones to step into the octagon.

These people just can't ever get over the fact that he walked away from the wrestling business for over seven years, came back and was a bigger deal then ever. In AEW he wouldn't pander to the worst elements of the company and straight up called them out rather then make passive aggressive comments via stooges in the dirstsheets. Its the same with Jim Cornette. If you don't go along with them and pretend that AEW and the elite are the greatest thing ever you're the enemy. They took the ferociously loyal elements of the ECW fanbase but became way more way cringeworthy and vocal about it.

He makes Roman look busy. He does 3 matches and needs 6 months and one to one training.

He nearly killed Rey Mysterio because he's so thick.

It's cringe they put a belt on him
 
Really terrible week for AEW.

Stories of it not being financially sustainable, rumours they could be losing their TV deal, and two of it's biggest stars tanking a horrible promo.

Just feels like it's on the verge of collapse if Tony Khan doesn't do something drastic.

Tony needs to accept rampage and collision have been huge failures.

Scrap them, cut the roster, go back to one show a week and get some experienced guys to run and produce dynamite.
 


Kinda funny, really. Twinkletoes was leading the development of this game and they decided to call the F5 diverticulitis which "coincidentally" is a disease that Brock Lesnar really struggled with. Now Harpo's got diverticulitis himself, it's almost as if it's karma. In all seriousness though, I wish him a speedy recovery.
