Really enjoyed last night. I actually think that the 10pm curfew helped them stay on course to have a brilliant show. It wasn't perfect The Young Bucks drag down everything they're involved in, Jack Perry is totally unbelievable as anything approaching a tough guy and Sasha Banks (or whatever she's called now) is absolutely awful. Everyone else delivered on this show. I felt like the multi-man tag match's on the pre-show where a bit much but Tony Kahn gonna Tony Kahn. Ospreay and MJF was fantastic and would've been a show stealer where it not for the main event which was epic. Say what you want about AEW but they really created a magical moment with that. The gauntlet match was really fun too. I struggle watching AEW on tv most weeks because their tv can be up the wall but I'd still defo watch them again live when they come back for Forbidden Door next year and for All In 2026 if circumstances permits.

Tbf this might be one of the few times they got the booking right. It would've made their world title picture look absolutely laughable to have a guy who was nowhere in WWE earn a world title shot in his first match. Knowing that Danielson was going to win the title, I feel like Christian was a good choice because he's always great and was among the few good things AEW had going for it for a while.
Making an observation shouldn't be equated with caring, much like making an observation on a gang of Klopp, Farage or Trump worshippers. Don't worry though, as a lifelong metalhead I know all about being judged. It is what it is and it'll never stop.

Danielson vs Christian might actually make me come back to watch an AEW match for the first time since Punk left. Love them both.
