I'm distinguishing his fabulous career as an Everton player to that as a non-productive director of the club.
His playing career is not and never will be up for debate.
The same sadly, cannot be said for his time on the Board.
In a few years when it’s Rondon on the board, we’ll be wishing we still had links to our greatest ever team.

Sharp doesn't do a job. At the end of it, it's what matters in this current situation we are in, not what he did 40 years ago lol
This club is built on what he did thirty eight years ago. Erase him. Erase our history.
If Sharp is to blame, then so are the fans threatening players at roadblocks.
He is the wrong target. Put your anger where it needs to go, not at a club legend.
Once his generation passes on there will be none like them again in our lifetime. Cherish them while they are here.
If you belittle his contribution, then don’t mourn when he passes. Your fake tears won’t be welcome.
I honestly think the flack aimed at him is ridiculous. It’s like holding a civil servant in the Home Office responsible for Suella Braverman.
If you are holding him to such high standards, then stop going to games. Don’t fund the board. We’re doomed anyway, it will make no difference.

I certainly don’t endorse the behaviour of the kids shouting lad and chasing cars and it’s don’t little to help our situation that’s for sure .
It’ll take a lot more than this to make me forget his performances and the amazing days he gave me but I’ll be honest I wish he hadn’t taken the job.

I wish more good ex players would step up and take control. I don’t know what the hell this team is or what we our identity is anymore. If there is no one to make that case at board level then who will?
If we trash those who can, then who do we think will step up?
The following generations of players don’t know what success is. We are where we deserve to be as a club and as s fan base now.

Everything is symptomatic of modern day society when we want instant results and need to blame anyone when we don't get it.
the whole club is broken. and I can't see how it can be fixed (in the short term).

I honestly respect your view , I haven’t enjoyed some of his comments in the past but I can see past them but his failure to attend at the weekend and the silence that followed hurts . It hurts because I don’t want to stop feeling like I did about him and when I see him tied to those damaging my club and slandering the fans it’s hard .
There is all kinds of stuff being thrown around at the minute and I honestly don’t feel we’re a million miles apart in our views . The least we can do is respectfully discuss it .
To be fair to him, the times I've heard him doing comms on the OS' streamed audio for games (which I haven't listened to for quite a while), he's been pretty harsh so I don't know if he'd tow any lines...maybe that's why he was put on the board, to shut/soften him up. I can't imagine he's ok with what he's been seeing on the pitch. Almost feels like he might be a victim of collateral damage.
