As someone who’s too young to have seen him play for us, I have no reservations about calling him a cowardly, seat-sniffing stooge.

The man is an absolute embarrassment. Won the lot with the club but thinks that fans are “over the top” for being disgruntled about imminent relegation… Is he for real?

Yet another bellend STEALING a living from this club.

I never saw him play, so he's certainly not a club legend to me. He's part of the problem with tone deaf comments like that.
I never watched Dean play, but he's a legend. Sharp was a pivotal part of our most successful era, so I always respected him and his contribution to the club.

But, he's been part of the 'in crowd' for many a year now, with his living funded by the club. It's just sad that he's become so entangled that he's part of the problem.

I respect what he done on the pitch for udsthat wont change. But like the rest of board out of touch not good enough to run the club.yes its not personal but everyone one of them should not be allowed at the game now time is done again they want to blame us fans.

It's absolutely bizarre he's on the board in the first place. I suppose it all goes back to the favours he used to pull Kenwright when he hosted the Radio City phone ins all those years ago. Anti Kenwright sentiment was never tolerated with Sharpy in the studio.

I don't understand why he wants to tarnish his own legacy at the club. Firmly positioning himself alongside some of the most toxic people in the history of Everton. What is he thinking?

I respect his achievements on the pitch but I don't see him as a legend at all. My only experience of him in my lifetime following Everton is him being a constant yes man for mediocrity and now part of a dysfunctional and failing board.
