He was part of the board during a period where we received 2 points deductions. That is always going to get criticism.

If he showed an acceptance that mistakes were made in the past then that would draw a line under everything and everyone would move forward. That's the obvious way back for him and hopefully it happens because he was a tremendous player.

Find it bizarre that none of them have come out afterwards to clear things up or clarify what "happened".

Was all very cloak and dagger against the fanbase with sound bites and "leaked" information of death threats and headlocks

Wait there just had a thought. Who’s really arsed? I mean really?

It’s not that important is it. Just seems a bed wetting exercise by those way too bothered about something really inconsequential.

Move on everyone, you too Graeme pal. See you at the game or not.

Then why start a thread then ?

Imagine asking one of our clubs greatest scorers that he needs to apologise.

Yeah Sharpie, I know you scored in the 84 FA cup final and the Cup Winners cup final but you need to say sorry because we got a points deduction.

On the pitch, dogged, wilful and uncompromising - big tick.

Off the pitch, dogged, wilful and uncompromising - big bad.

He is who he is, and it's what made him such a good player and such a bad director for this club.
