It's not. I stated loads of time son here in his first season and beyond that he gets the chance to prove himself. He just didn't take it.

Find me a post I made that contradicts that...

I’m glad you asked. Because here is you calling for him to be sacked 6 months into the job.

Here’s you calling him a clown in December 2016

Here’s you suggesting he knows nothing in November 2016

As I said. I’ll be watching with great interest.

If it's the only choice then yes, he is a better coach and manager than Dyche.

As a long term replacement, it's difficult because the DoF situation is a joke and would he be able to handle it. He famously lost his head a couple of years a go after a handful of Brighton fans boo'd them one game.

Didn't he manage to get a tune out of Mopey ?

I remember Brighton having lots of posession and struggling to score for a while - better than lots of defending and not able to score ?

In the ideal world, I`ve got to say no.

It`s not that I doubt his ability as a manager, as I don`t, it`s just that he`s such a strange fella and I really don`t know how he`d handle the pressure he`d immediately be under that came with the job.

Doesn`t mean I don`t rate him or have anything against, as I haven`t.
this is where I am too, decent coach but comes across a bit odd.

We're in such a tricky situation aren't we. We're not going to hire a top manager to go through half a season fighting relegation. So that leaves us either sticking with Dyche or hiring a manager who's a lesser name.

If we stick with Dyche, we may drop and several thousands heads may explode over the course of the season. Alternatively, he may keep us up and we can say thank you and goodbye. Hire the correct manager, clear out the squad and build a new one.

OR

We can sack Dyche and hire a manager, but it won't be top level. He could potentially have us playing much better football and we build from there. However, there's no chance we then sack him and hire the top manager we crave. So we potentially limit our future ambition. Alternatively, he fails with this poor squad too and we still go down or struggle.

I feel like we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. I know the obvious answer is "Anyone but Dyche! Just sack him!!!!!" but they've got to get this appointment absolutely spot on. This is potentially the biggest decision in our recent history and future. My genuine concerns are the board have decimated this club to the point that anyone will struggle with this squad. Truth be told, they're not very good players and tactics and Dyche aside, I don't think the majority are bothered or have that fighting mentality.

So no matter the option. We just have to get to the end of the season safe and then clear the loser mentality out. Shift the majority and rebuild from the ground up. I'm not expecting miracles. I'm just expecting everyone involved to care, fight and want this club to succeed.

Didn't we go on some terrible run then like losing 9 games or something? Tbf that's nothing to us now like but at the time we were a much better side who had just spent big in the summer.

Just some context, like.
