I get a real kick out of people who bitch about squad depth with all of the competitions coming up for us, not to mention our league obligations and then, when we go out and get on loan, a competent player, they bitch and moan about the quality of said player.
Sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it too.
But in this instance, Moyes has instantly added another player to the squad, one with experience, one who's already familiar with many of the Everton players, and one who can help when needed.
Is Gravesen gonna be an instant starter? Possibly but probably not depending upon who's healthy and who isn't but that really isn't my concern. My thought is all we need is one or two more injuries in the midfield would have left us woefully short. Gravesen fills that potential void.
Oh, and did I mention Moyes didn't spend a few million quid in the transfer market to fill that need?
Damn, some people need to take a step back, take a deep breath, and just for a minute or two, compare this squad right now with what Moyes had to start with 5 years ago.
Some people are never satisfied. :angry:
