Having seen Springsteen last Friday and going to see Peter Gabriel this Friday (which constitutes a week of pure musical catnip for me) - What are the best gigs you've ever attended?

And are there any particular gigs you wish you could have been at?

This one always captivates me - Would have loved to be there in such a stunning location

Now sadly derelict but due to reopen

Gabriel is fantastic live, you'll love that one.

First ones off the top of my head :

Echo and the Bunnymen - A Crystal Day St Georges Hall / May 1984 ( what a year that was for, footy, fashion and music )

Big Audio Dynamite - State Ballroom Liverpool / April 1986

Depeche Mode - Devotional Tour Manchester GMEX / Dec 1993

Big Country - Academy Manchester / June 1994

Big Country - Leeds Town and Country / May 2000.

I went to see Bruce in Amsterdam a few weeks back.

I don't think anything will ever top it.
