Groucho's Fact Hunt

Really sorry mate, that's an urban myth;

Rumour had it that he killed his trainer and two other people on set after the filming was finished, but it’s absolutely not true.

From the same link though, one of the lions that was used had survived a plane crash and two train crashes.

Wasn't sure whether to put this fact in here or the Everton thread. Mods feel free if you want to move this.

Anyway, Walton, Wavertree, West Derby & Toxteth were brought into the Liverpool City boundary in 1895. Therefore when we moved from Anfield in 1892 to the Mere Green field on Goodison Road Everton were not a Liverpool club at that time.

To Sir With Love (just caught it on tv hence the thought) E.R. Braithwaite, whose autobiog the film was based on was born in 1912 and - up to now, is still going...not too shabby there E.R.

The film stood the test of time pretty well too...well ok-ish given the inaccuracies and the terrible tv spin off.

Starring one of my favourite actresses, Suzy Kendall.
