It was also thought to be inconsistent for the Environmental Protocol (Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora) to have strict controls on the introduction of non-native species, but at the same time allow huskies to be bred and used in Antarctica.

*Distemper is a viral disease, which affects the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and central nervous systems in dogs. The canine distemper virus (CDV) causes the disease. It is highly contagious, and is often fatal.

...Mao Zedong decreed it. In geographic (as opposed to political) terms, China has 5 time zones. Continental USA has 5 as well (including alaska)...Hawaii is the US's outlier 6th time zone.
