Or millions of years (given Andromeda galaxy is about 2.5 million light years from us, the whole thing could conceivably not be there anymore and we would never know it)

All celestial positions change based on time of day and time of year. But it is entirely predictible where each known stellar body (or collection of stellar bodies) will be

Here are few things I learned several weeks ago:

On an iPhone, when you use the calculator and turn your phone from portrait to landscape it changes from "simple" calculator to "scientific" calculator.

On a mac, to take a targeted screen shot, press "command" "control" "shift" "4" all at once.
