Italy are not a great side by their lofty standards, but they are no mugs. They are being murdered here. It's only because they are such brilliantly-organised natural defenders that this is not a hammering on the scoreboard.

They are utterly bereft of the class players they almost always seemed to have. It's to their credit this remains only 1-0.
