Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

The problem to a point isn't UEFA it's the Court of Arbitration for Sport which is completely separate.

It's like passing judgement in a law court only to have it overturned by the Supreme Court.

As expected, City will have used the "were the most watched team in world football and sport, we have x and y worldwide. The "brand" need the exposure and vice versa to help blah blah"

And they agreed.

Say Leicester did the same...the excuse wouldn't slide. They'd get banned.

It's a members only club.
Exactly. And people seem to think if we just flaunted all the rules we’d magically be in it.

What if the rules are fundamentally flawed and the club being punished is being pursued by UEFA primarily to make an example of those who try to break their cartel of elite clubs?

I was routing for City. Not that I approve of dodgy accounting, but because I think that the bigger villain was UEFA in all of this.

City are the kings of this though. They have the best accounts and lawyers in world football.

The minute FFP came in, they ramped up their "infrastructure" (training facilities, women's team investment), in order to take a huge chunk out of the accounts and balance it.

End of the day, it wasn't until some journo hacked into their emails (and is now in prison for it) and exposed it...Uefa wouldn't have known.

They cheated and lied about it.

They didn’t buy Everton.

Also try to be more polite to people would you?

when I’ve got to listen to drivel like this, I’ll use my tone to emphasise my point :)

So Everton getting £30m for naming rights to a stadium which hasn’t began is okay? Usmanov being Moshiri best mate and mysteriously seeing Megafon and USM popping up isn’t cheating?

Pot. Kettle. Black.

It's not naming rights mate.

It's to have access to potentially bid for naming rights. lol

Euro ban lifted. Yeah what’s the point in having rules then eh?

Scum club who have cheated their way to the top.

Well I'm personally delighted with the news... Man City are the only club who can stop Liverpool winning the Premier league over the next 3 or 4 years... A ban for City would have seriously weakened them, and handed Liverpool multiple titles..

As for cheating.... They might have spent money, but they've spent it very wisely... While we spent our new money on Sigurdson, Iwobi, Kean, Sneiderlin, Bolasie, Klaassen, Tosun, Keane, Mina

City can now keep their best players, and rebuild their backline in this transfer window... I hope they spend another 300m

Hopefully, that is the end of the 6 year witch hunt against us - but I wouldn't bet on it.
The word is UEFA were pushed into doing what they did by Bayern Munich & Liverpool.
UEFA can just turn round now and say to them 'we did our best! We banned them. We fined
them but CAS overturned it. Not our fault',
It really is a seriously corrupt organisation. City will never be part of 'The Club' and in a lot of ways
I'm glad about that. I'll never attend a European game ever again. It just doesn't interest me anymore.
And I really couldn't careless if we never win their rigged, corrupt competition. Ever. It's meaningless.
The good news is that Liverpool, Bayern & United will be literally steaming about this decision and that
makes it all the more sweeter. FFP is effectively finished now and so it should be.
Why shouldn't an owner be able to invest their own money in their own club but you can have
debts of hundreds of millions of pounds? The laughable things is UEFA only started to come after
us when we started to win things. When we grabbed the top 4 spot off Liverpool until then everyone
just patted us on the head and laughed. Well their not laughing now...
This is a good day for football. It is a good day for clubs that have ambition. Clubs that are prepared to invest
to be successful. I wish I was a fly on the wall in the boardroom at Klanfield today... :-)

I appreciate everyone isn't gonna like us, but scum club seems a bit extreme.

Still, again, as when I first posted on the forum, all the best for the Toffees, I know some might see us as part of the 'club' at the top of the table, but most of us were here when we were getting tonked in Division 2. I grew up watching Rosler and Kinkladze and Alan Ball and Frank Clark sinking us, we're definitely not Arsenal, Spuds, Chelsea, United or Liverpool, they all hate us, haha.

I think UEFA and FFP had it in for us from the start and the rules were put in place as arbitrary roadblocks to stop us trying to progress as a club, because lets face it, the G14 get the most views and that's what's important to them.

Once again, hope Carlo can get you guys up the table where you belong.

I can’t deal with this level inferiority complex. I’m sorry, I just can’t.
