Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

That's the big question though isn't it? What happens to FFP now?
City have driven a coach and horses through those regulations.
It'll serve as a template for future appeals for when the likes of us are deemed to have fallen foul of the rules.
But nothing will remove the feeling that there is a clique in existence that will be able to move heaven and earth to maintain the status quo.

Euro ban lifted. Yeah what’s the point in having rules then eh?

Scum club.
What if the rules are fundamentally flawed and the club being punished is being pursued by UEFA primarily to make an example of those who try to break their cartel of elite clubs?

I was routing for City. Not that I approve of dodgy accounting, but because I think that the bigger villain was UEFA in all of this.

Scum club who have cheated their way to the top.

Give it a rest, idiot.

Had the Sheikh have taken over Everton and invested billions, building empires, regenerating the area for the better and getting trophies, would you be complaining? Would you hell.

Fact is, they bought their way in, but they haven’t cheated. They just got bought at the right time.

We all knew this, though. The whole point of the Champions League, as opposed to the European Cup, was that a group of 16 teams could guarantee a certain amount of European football on TV each season, stitch up the competition between them, share the TV money between themselves and UEFA and consolidate their domestic superiority forever.

They cheated and lied about it.

They didn’t buy Everton.

Also try to be more polite to people would you?

Nailed it.

It worked for us initially, but fundamentally was there to punish sides who couldn’t pay their way out.

Panathinaikos, Málaga and so on.

What business can you run, where they tell the lucrative willing owners.... “No, you want to invest this, but nah.... we won’t let you”

The problem to a point isn't UEFA it's the Court of Arbitration for Sport which is completely separate.

It's like passing judgement in a law court only to have it overturned by the Supreme Court.

As expected, City will have used the "were the most watched team in world football and sport, we have x and y worldwide. The "brand" need the exposure and vice versa to help blah blah"

And they agreed.

Say Leicester did the same...the excuse wouldn't slide. They'd get banned.

It's a members only club.
