Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

I appreciate everyone isn't gonna like us, but scum club seems a bit extreme.

Still, again, as when I first posted on the forum, all the best for the Toffees, I know some might see us as part of the 'club' at the top of the table, but most of us were here when we were getting tonked in Division 2. I grew up watching Rosler and Kinkladze and Alan Ball and Frank Clark sinking us, we're definitely not Arsenal, Spuds, Chelsea, United or Liverpool, they all hate us, haha.

I think UEFA and FFP had it in for us from the start and the rules were put in place as arbitrary roadblocks to stop us trying to progress as a club, because lets face it, the G14 get the most views and that's what's important to them.

Once again, hope Carlo can get you guys up the table where you belong.
Whenever I think of City, I'm thinking of the Tony Book and Joe Mercer era, and how good a team that was.
Your fall from the top table and subsequent rise has been a joy to watch. As we haven't been able to do it, you've been our surrogate team in matching our neighbours in red.
It's the Green Eyed Monster coming to life whenever teams other than the usual suspects start taking aim at you. You took on UEFA and won. Good on you.

City are a small tinpot club and have received the biggest financial doping in the history of English football and have flouted all the laws and bought stakes in about 8 other clubs and have unlimited oil funds , uefa are silly useless muppets and are now dead n the water , they have no authority now

Calm down Kopite

We have and i can see that , but tbf most of it when we had 20 years of glory was self generated , city had not won anythng for 35 years before the oil rolled in , can live with them competing but come this is ridiculous how much have they spent must be nearly 3 billion in 11 years or so on players , sponsorships , buying other clubs etc

Oh hello!

What are your thoughts about breaking world record transfers for various positions in your team? Does that make a team tinpot too?

I'm with Wenger;

"I am in favour of measures that reinforce checks around club management, over measures that restrict and limit,” Wenger told L’Equipe. “We should value quality management and encourage it.

“And I am in favour of opening things up to more investment, which FFP does not allow for. The clubs that dominate Europe today are those that were built and made investments during an era where FFP did not exist. FFP prevents emerging clubs who want to invest from doing so. That is not normal.

“These rules have fixed a hierarchy, the big historical clubs are bigger and bigger and, obviously, they are all fighting for FFP rules to be scrupulously applied to the others so that competitors can’t come through.

“Controlling club management rigorously yes, verifying where funds are coming from, yes, but we need to encourage people to invest in football. FFP must become more flexible and facilitate investment.”

FFP needs binning, it was brought in too late and it exists now to keep a hierarchy.
