Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Just wanted to say as the author of this thread that so far it's gone exactly how I had imagined.

Will be interesting to see if city decide to stick with him and continue down what will be a downward spiral or if he goes soon.

The premier league isn't better but it's more competitive. Teams in La Liga don't pack it in and defend as much as prem teams do when the big boys come to town so it's easier to just pile up goals. Here you really have to work to beat Burnley or West Brom
Add to that, the squad he has inherited are nowhere near as dominant as the likes of Barca and Bayern were so it's two-folded.

His constant tinkering of his starting XI and the style they play shows that he's yet to find a model he's actually happy with in the PL.

They're leaking goals at the back with only two clean sheets at home in nine games, and teams are stifling him with their setups as you mentioned.

They have a similar problem to Everton with players like Navas, Yaya, Silva, Zabaleta and others who are past it and we're last season. A new manager doesn't change the fact that the players aren't good enough

I think he deffo made a mistake with Hart, thought it was strange at the time, he just never gave him a chance and now the new keeper is taking a bit of stick it's bound to be highlighted.

Hart was average which is all they really needed. The problem is Hart was replaced with someone god awful.

To be fair though, players and managers are paid absurd sums precisely because of the circus and interest surrounding them. It's a bit rum to complain about the hand that feeds them.
I can understand the goading if the berk was talking football but asking him if he was 'happy' when he clearly wasn't then saying you don't look it! Pffff he's lucky Pep didn't pull his hair!
