Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Not really. They have the best squad in Europe by a mile.
They honestly don’t have the ability to go the extra mile when things go against them though.
They wouldn’t have won the league last year if Liverpool didn’t self implode so spectacularly.
They never seem to come behind to win games as much as the other top teams do.
They won’t win the CL under pep as for whatever reason they don’t have the confidence to play their own game at the very highest level.
They are the best team in the country by a mile and yet they will never be able to dominate whilst other (even far inferior teams like Liverpool and Chelsea) are willing to put them under pressure.
Their title win 2019 was absolutely granite. Put the RS to bed on 97 pts runners up (lmfao) - City won the last 14 when the RS were on an incredible run of wins themselves and the Koppite media wetting themselves at the prospect. Bulletproof mentality from Pep's men there.

That were drained the following season, they were full pelt on it for 2 seasons, going for the 100 and failed quadruple and then that run in 2019 and Klopp winning the CL that season and the media fanfare that saw really put a damper on them especially with City proclaiming themselves "Quadruple" champions , they looked physically and mentally drained the start of the following season which showed with their shocking start and eventually being 28 points behind in march when Covid stopped the season.

Last year the title was the easiest for them under the petro dollar ownership, every club was running on fumes and City won it at a canter with the freshest squad barely getting out of 2nd gear, was such a uneventful season.

25 points behind, not 28.

Good job it wasn't a few more eh? Then the RS would have won the league, as it would have been mathematically impossible for City to catch them.

Been a few to-ings and fro-ings between the City and RS head pharmacologists physios in recent years. Stands to reason you'll see these sort of energy differences manifest themselves.

Hey up, City lost and the divvy is posting again

Should be a humdinger of a match going from this graph.

Two best attacking sides by far, i wouldn't be surprised to see a 3-3 game.

Can i just commend @davek for his foresight to see that the Grealish signing wasn't needed for City and how out of place he looks, watching him on Sunday he looked way out of place in a game of that magnitude, the game just passed him by, Foden and Silva on Sunday were magnificent and Grealish was no where near that level.

I did see a few times how he failed to bust a gut to get the ball, he just looks lazy, ball running out of play or the ball free for a interception and and he's just jogging, i now understand why Southgate preferred using him as a sub at the Euros, he seems more equip as a impact sub , it reminds of when Sane was at City he had the same sort of lazy work rate and Guardiola eventually just used him as impact sub in the last 20-25 minutes of games, i can see Grealish eventually having that role and Sterling starting on the right.

Silva, KDB and Rodri is their best midfield 3 and Foden and Sterling playing wide, just bizarre why they bought Grealish.

Don't think it was that hard to predict that he was not needed, as predictions go it was pretty nailed on.

However, most of us don't care enough to give ourselves a hernia over it.
