Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Warrior is a subsidiary of New balance who eventually took over the deal, FSG don't have 1 cent in shares in warrior or New Balance so how is the same thing as Man City, utterly bizarre take mate, is it because New Balance HQ's are in Boston lol, i guess Bayern Munich should get the same seeing Adidas HQ's are in Herzogenaurach Bavaria about 40 miles from Munich where Adidas also has a 30% stake in Bayern.

Anyway going off tangent, about time this was done, teams who have lost titles because of City's financial doping, teams who have finished 5th have lost hundreds of millions in revenue for City stealing a CL spot, teams have lost cup finals to city shameless cheating, and teams who have finished 18th have been relegated due to City being in the PL instead of them being that yo yo joke of a club.

They should just leave those titles and cups to City, everyone knows they are fradulent, let them have that stigma attached that those trophies have the stench of cheating attached to them to all concerned at that fradulent cheating club, and most of all this is the clubs in the PL who brought this. clubs who are shareholders in the PL, and also PL rules state any charges bought and found guilty of, the accused club cannot take it to CAS, and also PL investigations are not time barred, hopefully PIF, MBS and NUFC just saw their dreams shattered which is also a good thing, they just signed up to their 4th saudi/PIF owner linked deal last month, i reckon they'll be putting more owner linked commercial deals ceasing while this City case is ongoing.

So basically shareholders in both organisations paid potential egregious sponsorship deals (re warrior).

re the 5th place thing, that is us. We got 72 points as well. Were at a critical point, where finance in would have made an enormous difference. In honesty, ours fortunes havent recovered from that missed opportunity. However, I really cannot bring myself to start whining on about "financial doping" (I.e spending money) or want to start some ridiculous and insulting notion of re awarding achievements that we ultimately werent good enough for.

In football as with life, you get what you deserve. We werent good enough to finish 4th. Just taking out a team above us makes no difference, and its crude.

If these accusations are substantiated in a court of law, 2 points become absolutely clear.

1) FFP/STCC is not worth the paper it is written on. It's time to get rid of it once and for all.

2) Its time for independent oversight/governance of football.

Thats the prize here. Lets keep our eyes on it, rather than going off whining about things that happened 10 years ago.

A fine & a significant points deduction should suffice, if guilty. No real point in stripping their titles at this point. Most they probably get is a slap on the wrist anyway..

A cynic writes;
The publication of the Government White Paper on Football governance has been delayed again. It apparently contains the recommendation for an "Independent Regulator" , something the clubs and the FA have long resisted.
During this unforeseen twice delayed pre publication period, an dramatic announcement of an investigation into one of the richest clubs who may be breaching FFP. Why on earth would an independent regulator be needed, when clubs like this are thoroughly investigated?
Three months time; City guilty of minor infractions, some others unproven. Fined, no points deduction, minor points of Government White Paper accepted, independent Regulator kicked into the long grass and snouts back in troughs.

IF they are found guilty, they deserve everything they get

Won’t be much though

A big fine and a “don’t do it again” with a wagging finger.

No way they get kicked out of the EPL as the EPL want them in it.

Points deducted will be 1-2 points at most but even with a 12 point deduction they will still finish in the top 4 anyway

Its not really just a FFP thing. If my understanding is close, they are accused of tons of financial indiscretions, which would ultimately "help" with FFP etc, but would be illegal even if FFP never existed.

My question on this, is if this is the case, how have these accounts been signed off by a leading accounting firm?

Probably a waiver between the accounting firm and City e.g. “I believe these accounts submitted to [accounting firm] to be accurate and will not hold them responsible should any later in accuracies be found”. Or something to that effect.

Yes, we have pal. And we've had far worse bad times under Peter Swales as chairman than you'll ever have under Bill Kenwright.

Some of our worst moments on the pitch where our best moments off the pitch, if that makes sense. Inflatable craze was a great to be a City supporter, especially at away grounds. We were well known for our loyalty. But when we got bought out all of a sudden we were branded plastics, lol.

I've always thought city and Everton are very very similar in lots of ways especially us supporters who go to games. Gallows humour is a common bond between city and Everton, and we also have a common bond with West Ham and Sunderland fans.

If we get stripped of titles and relegated we'll get back, even if it takes a few years too. I am a bit concerned but I'm not overly worried because we've been amongst lower league teams before, and getting beat home and away against Wycombe Wanderers in the league opened our eyes. But we still turned up week in week out.

I play pool on a Monday night and half the team is United fans who will no doubt try ripping me. But none of them go to games, so it's like water off a duck's back to me as I can't take them seriously.
Sounds like a team fairly local to us, now let me think ???!
