Stones looking a player again, great to watch, Ashley Williams will improve us though LOL
Spending hundreds of millions helps.
Every player in their first 11 cost over 30 million. They even brought on over 100 million worth of talent from the bench.
As opposed to mourinho who assembles his teams for the value of a packet of beansI'm not sure that the Pep fans should be gloating too much. Spending a billion quid is nothing to crow about, but he's certainly made them the best team in England.
I thing is mate people on here actually said that.Stones looking a player again, great to watch, Ashley Williams will improve us though LOL
I think he was a stubborn manager that has altered his style to great effect. Even at Bayern, I predicted he would never challenge for a champions league title, and it's no surprise they won it before he left. His favored football was becoming obsolete as teams were moving towards counter-attacking football (the movement started because of his dominance at Barcelona). Now, he has proven that he isn't one dimensional as many thought he was. I've been impressed. Those who don't already think he's a good manager will never be convinced
Which is the whole point of football, correct?I'm not sure that the Pep fans should be gloating too much. Spending a billion quid is nothing to crow about, but he's certainly made them the best team in England.
With you there Big guyAbsolutely schooled Conte today. He didn't have a clue how to set up against us and then made things worse with his subs.

Depends if a manager wants respect. Mourinho got respect by turning a side costing a packet of fags into European Champions. Pep hasn't, and most likely will not in his career.
