Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

And playing for this City team is a good sample of if he can defend for a team under pressure? Sound
That the team he's playing in, consistently every week to a high standard, City don't spend 90 minutes in the opposition half, the idea that a poor defender can look like a good one if he's in a good team is sheer nonsense, it's sounds very desperate, our hateful misguided fanbase with their antiquated attitudes to football, would do much better to admit they were wrong

Is Otamendi a good defender? Was Stones any good last year when things weren’t going well for City? I’m not saying he hasn’t improved but he didn’t all the sudden become a great defender. Quality footballer, sure, but put him in our side or Bournemouth and he’s nowhere near as effective. When he doesn’t have the support of a team that dominates the ball and doesn’t have a Fernandinho in front of him, he’s not all that.

No he is diabolical, obvious to anyone who has watched them, and proving my point perfectly

This time last season I thought you'd sold us a pup with kidney Stones. As much use as a chocolate fireguard, weak in the tackle and bereft of any confidence. His distribution was good though, but we didn't sign him for that. I have a couple of Everton mates who thought you'd had us over, but this was last season.

However, this season and last night in particular is where JS has finally come of age. No English club had ever won in Napoli, and after conceding looked like City wouldn't either. Stones was the main man, totally commanding the back line, mopping most things up. He's now become a much better player, his tackling has vastly improved, and his defensive awareness is now becoming Captain material, so much so, we no longer pine for Kompany to get back.

Oh and stonsey has got a good header on him. Thanks for selling him us lads.

All the best for the season, hope your fortunes improve soon.

It was a matter of time but rather youse than Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs. At least he'll win a few pots and we'll get a bit of cash.
