Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Pat's a good bloke and smart for a footballer but his voice gets tiresome.

Every three or four years, the pundits should all be cryogenically frozen and a completely fresh group put in their place - by law.

Yes, it's that important.
Maybe a Logan's Run type thing. Or maybe a fight to the death with the winner getting a reprise for a year? I'd be tempted to subscribe to pay tv for that.

Can we just go back to laughing at John Stones and how we properly had Man City off for him?

.........................

I'd have him back tonight :drunk:
He's still not a very good defender. Watch him for England against good teams. He gets turned inside out. Luckily for City he's everything they need as they don't ever have to actually defend. They're just so good in attack.

No one plays well for England in fairness.

He has become really good for Guardiola's defence this season. Like, really really good.

The player we all knew he was going to become.

Looking at how the likes of Sterling, Stones and possibly now Delph have developed under him, it's starting to look like he's going to have a big influence on English football.

This time last season I thought you'd sold us a pup with kidney Stones. As much use as a chocolate fireguard, weak in the tackle and bereft of any confidence. His distribution was good though, but we didn't sign him for that. I have a couple of Everton mates who thought you'd had us over, but this was last season.

However, this season and last night in particular is where JS has finally come of age. No English club had ever won in Napoli, and after conceding looked like City wouldn't either. Stones was the main man, totally commanding the back line, mopping most things up. He's now become a much better player, his tackling has vastly improved, and his defensive awareness is now becoming Captain material, so much so, we no longer pine for Kompany to get back.

Oh and stonsey has got a good header on him. Thanks for selling him us lads.

All the best for the season, hope your fortunes improve soon.

chatting utter wham here, the lad is class, the blues who were slating him have embarrassed themselves, those who said williams is better should never be allowed an opinion ever again
