Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

I'm not, I just think you're talking from a position of bitterness and jealousy. Pep has blown this league away, breaking record after record. He's done it with a style of football that is amazing to watch. Yet there's always someone sniping from the sidelines, spewing out nonsense and trying to undermine his achievements. It's pathetic.
If Kenright had been upfront and straight and allowed ADUG to do their due diligence and examine Everton' s books like they wanted to. It might have been you lot in our position now. No doubt you would be singing fron a different hymn sheet.
I wonder what Bill had to hide.

You play some great footy for sure, it just comes from an impure place. There's no shame in that.

Well, there is. But as you say you've got some trophies to show for it so joke's on us

How pure was United's money in the 70s and 80s. Coming as it did from their dodgy owners selling contaminated meat to schools and hospitals?

I envy City, anybody that says they dont is lying, they have won the lottery, if it was Everton spending 50m on back up LBs, would I care?

Not a jot, have City "bought" the title? Yes, of course, but the amount of teams that havent bought the title can be counted on 1 finger, Leicester City are the only team in the current Premiership era that havent bought the title, it started straight from the start with Blackburn, carried on with United, Chelsea, Arsenal and now City.

Spending money doesnt instantly win you the Title, you need luck, a good coach and a set of players that believe, the money helped City for sure and I cant see anybody stopping, not next season anyway, Chelsea are broken behind the scenes, Roman has basically given up to a degree, United and Jose is a match made in hell, Arsenal are in freefall, so that leaves City with a clear run IMO next season.

Good luck to them, wish it was us.

Growing up I never understood the medias perception of United, I was constantly reading they were the biggest team in the country, at that time they hadnt won the league for almost 30 years, it baffled me. They then of course utterly dominated the Premier League on the back of some superb marketing, whoever did the job of making United before SAF is a genius.

United is NOW probably the biggest or 2nd biggest team in the world, based on revenues, which was built off the back of some superb savy marketing and the legacy that SAF left behind, but we are currently seeing that money alone wont be able to help united, they can spend 90m on Pogba, 75m on Lukaku, it wont matter a jolt without the right framework. But im pretty sure the owners dont give 1, the money still comes in, year after year, but I cant see them winning the Title with Jose.

hahaha you've gone off the rails now, your hyperventilating reaction only tells me you find my points valid, I couldn't care less about your dough, but it definitely does affect how much credit pep deserves for winning a poor prem league, cheer up

Alexander the Great was overrated? Is there no cow too sacred Walken????
I like the analogy, he was very talented and lapped the plaudits up, he's the go to for the modern day fan boys, but those truly acquainted with the facts and willing to look beyond the sycophancy will realise that Phillip deserves huge credit in laying the foundations that allowed him to prosper

Don’t listen to most on here mate, trying to be edgy for edginess sake. The rest of the big 6 can cry all they want about money but frankly the truth is whichever side can get together the best playing talent and the best managerial talent and blend it together will win the league. They’ve all got enough money to get the talent required but this season have failed to do so. Chelsea did it well last season but failed this one.

City’s best players have again been Silva and Aguero plus De Bruyne, two of those were bought years ago and have been instrumental to a period of success so Pep has hardly bankrolled that. He’s made the most of what was there then has bought well to cover the gaps. United Liverpool Arsenal and Spurs have thrown round loads of money too but either not on the right players or not on the right positions.

I can only wish that Everton start to recruit sensibly as with the financial backing of Moshiri there is no reason why we can’t look to get the right blend of managerial talent and playing talent and in time look to challenge you at the top. There’d be nothing impure about that, we were the Mersey millionaires after all, the difference was back then we used the money better than our competitors, you’ve done the same this season.

In fairness to Utd their transfer and wage bill is not high because of who they have bought, but rather that the 'super agent' raiola has been brokering the deals. He's been pulling their pants down on every deal since Woodward took over. No agents are angels obviously, and they are all on the make, but raiola is a parasite that drives a hard bargain.
Between their owners leeching them and raiola bumming them Utd are in debt and playing some bang average stuff despite the impressive turnover.

like it or not, I'm afraid fergie earned the right to be at the top table with utd, in a way pep has never done. fergie won the clubs first title for 26 years. city had won it 2 years ago when pep took over, bayern the year before, barca 1 year before. Pep has his legion of sycophants in the press, but it was mancini who changed the ethos of the club, given little enough credit amongst the media, fergie changed the ethos of utd, wenger arsenal, kendall everton, pep reminds me of alexander the great, hugely renowned and lauded for his exploits, but it was Phillip who did all the foundation work, arguably the tougher task

I agree with you mostly and the significance of what Mancini did is sometimes overlooked. But I think Pep deserves credit too for the job he's done. Obviously he's had big money to spend but the squad needed a lot of overhauling, he moved on 20 players last summer, and he's won the league in a much more dominant fashion than Mancini or Pellegrini
