One of the weirdest things Evertonians do is complain about Gana while the person next to him is consistently worse and when he doesn't play we are dreadful in midfield.
 
I think the more encouraging thing is that front 4 will only get better the more they play together - think about things like Bernard’s cut back in the first half, few balls that were behind or in front of people. Very promising.

I’ll never get it.

Regardless, it is just amazing that many are surprised about Siggy’s performance. He’s been playing in the PL for years.

I agree with what someone else posted earlier. When a a team has one very good player it’s easier to nullify the team/player. Double u on him , get the team to take turns getting booked fouling him etc. but when you have 3 Bernard and richy you can’t doible up because it frees up the others , you can’t keep fouling all of them and getting hooked . This means our good players get a chance to play 1 on 1 with their marker, richy and Bernard can go past people with ease and siggy as we seen can use his technique to get create space for himself.

Looked better as it hit the bar and both posts about ten times. But to turn , them take the second touch before crossing it into the top corner requires a greater skill set imo awareness, touch, and composure not to mention the ability to strike it for 30 odd yards

He`s been average in many more games than he`s been good in.

Consistency is the key.

If he can keep scoring and get 10-15 goals this season then surely he is proving his doubters wrong about his price. I love the way that he tracked back at full pace from the corner when Leicester scored yesterday to cover that back post while others just watched - it’s things like that which show me how valuable he is to the team.
