Thought he was average except for some ace passes. Wish he was boss like he has been the last couple months but wasn't.
Couple of decent balls, overall was poor though, really thought he was going to take it to these today, good job we had Gomes to do that.
Tough game for him as he had to work hard against their centre backs and midfield with the press.

Yep I thought he was far too slow when in possession today. Great through ball for Walcott but didn't do enough fir me today.

Played slightly out of position today, not for the first time.
He's a great MF when he's picking the ball up facing the opposition back four and with runners ahead of him. Today, as in some previous games, he was playing too far forward, often in fact ahead of or alongside Richarlson. That meant we were playing 4-2-4 for much of the time and for long periods he was out of the game. Ten yards deeper and he'd have had much more influence.

There were a couple of nearly moments where he got crowded out by sheer numbers and couldn't unleash a shot like he wanted.
Statistcally he was up against the best defence in the league today so I suppose you've got to put it into perspective and say it was a tough game for him.
Through ball was unreal as you pointed out. Shame it was Theo on the end of it.
He's been super this season. When we play the top sides though we need All players at the top of their game. Today we had 3/4 who just didn't influence it enough.
Its harsh because I know we should have won let alone draw but in the big games and big moments we fell short. Like you said Walcott with that chance it should be buried. Fine margins but hopefully in time we will be more clinical
Progress is getting made, just an opportunity lost today to pipe them right down as we were the better side and they know it as well
