I have been missing the ‘play x as a number 10’ shouts so I’m fully on board with this
 
He should still play, one of best players but he needs to be taken off penalties.
Missed 2 for us this season already and I know hes no stranger to missing penalties for Iceland and his previous clubs.
 

He's obv quite rightly knackered and needs rotating

But silva keeps hammering him, knowing that he needs his best player on at all times.

This is the second time this season that he has blown a penalty.

How in God's name does he not practice them? The short run-up, the pansy kick, the lack of
any process?

I find that some levels of the modern game are professional to the nth degree yet basic stuff like corners that beat
the first man and strong wellied penalties into the corner are overlooked. EFC have two big problems- barely any goals from corners
and missed penalties - yet Silva does not address these massive failings!.

Nearly all the best penalty takers hit it hard and most of them aim for the corners.

Who recalls the Sharp knock-ons from corners? Worked time after time.. but now we offer no ingenuity or thought and our stats
show that.
 
Everyone was poor for the most part, so to single him out is a bit unfair. Having said that, he was always going to miss that penalty with the run up. It was poor

We need more players with composure in the final 3rd. It can’t just be Siggy and Richarlison providing the goals. Somebody either needs to step up or we need to find that person in January.
 
I believe Siggy is 25 of 30 in his career from the spot for both Iceland and his clubs.

His PK was where he wanted it. Foster guessed wrong and got lucky.

No way we take him off penalties.

Do you seriously think they don't practice penalties?
