Hazard is brilliant at them. Can´t remember him ever missing one. The way in which he deceives the goalkeeper is like no one else in world football. When I first saw the technique I thought he´d be found out very quickly but no one can seem to get near them.

Hmmm but Hazard has the same rate as Gylfi 80% . Hazard is brilliant but Gylfi is horrible taking pen. Strange logic....

I would rather have Barkley in this team but on the flip side of that if we'd had Sigurdsson in Martinez 1st season I think we would definitely have finished 4th. He would have combined with Lukaku better and set up and scored more goals. If he's going to be the main man we need a striker who has the right skillset.
Barkley isn’t near the level of Gylfi. He simply never delivered for us how Siggurdsson has shown he can do this season when actually played in the right position.
For me they are different players anyway and Gomes is the closest comparison as a box to box midfielder. And they are in seriously different leagues.

I just think Barkley would be more suited to the role Sigurdsson plays in the 3-4-3. I think as an out an out 10 Sigurdsson is better but further back it would suit Barkley more. Shame neither Martinez or Koeman tried him there.
I think that was because he lacked the discipline to track runners as well as looking to create.

I agree but looking at the way Silva coaches I think he would learn. All hypothetical just my thoughts. I would have Barkley back and in some games him and Sigurdsson would both play. The trick is to have as many different types who you can blend. I hope he goes on to get 15 goals at least and with a top finisher in front 10 assists and his figures can't be argued against. Now we have Bernard it would be nice for him to have a rest from time to time so he stays fresh.
I think Silva would love to work with Barkley and also agree that he would learn under Silva.
I also hope Barkley’s career sinks into mediocrity given his Judas act.

I totally agree that I want him to fail. However I would have had Rooney back 5 years sooner not the ready for retirement version we got. Also Stones and Lukaku even though I can't stand Lukaku's mouth. I hope all players that leave the way they did fail but I just can't help thinking if only we'd had them all at the same time.
I certainly can’t argue with that. Stones passing out from the back to find Sigurdsson who has both Rooney and Rom to look for is dream like.

Gareth Barry and/or Arteta alongside Gomes peak Jagielka Coleman and Baines. I'm a dreamer. Maybe we'll get some more top players to compliment Sigurdsson in the next 2 windows and we can truly see if he's the player we hope he is.

I don´t think Sigurdsson is a bad penalty taker anyway. Obviously doubts when you miss a couple.
Balotelli is boss aswell, they watch the goalkeeper make a slight movement n just roll it the other way. Hopefully Siggy keeps scoring his pens from now on
