I do agree with better finishing by others he would have hit the standards I would have expected. I just think his set pieces have been poor and they are supposedly one if his strongest attributes. He is solely to blame when his corners are cleared by the first man or his free kicks crash into the wall.

Agree that his set-pieces have been poor.

When a player accepts a contract of £500,000 a month and costs £45 million they deserve all the stick they get if they fail to perform. He isn't the only guilty player as most of them have fallen short but he is supposedly along with Richarlison the star player therefore he should get the most as Richarlison as offered slightly more.
He's not on £500,000 a week and he can't be responsible for us deciding to pay £45m for him - he didn't demand to be sold for that price

@nsno-chris

Told you :)

He was the same at Spurs and Swansea, people get overly excited by his stats and somehow believe that he’s a world class player. He had a 4 or 5 game spell we’re he decided to be be involved and was very good, but that’s just him.

Last year it’s because he was out wide, this year it’s his team mates. If he was sold would he be missed? The answer is clearly no

Last year it was his team mates as well, then it was "he's showing his quality this season because he's now got quality players around him" now he's gone back into poor mode (apart from his 'running around') it's back to "He needs better players in front of him to get the best out of him"

When we get better players in, we have to move quickly to improve on the field, because inevitably they quickly get Evertonised (i.e. become weak willed [Poor language removed] cats). I'm not sure what's in the water at FF...but I guess they drink it out of bottles...because bottling is what they excel at.

I believe they still have a shed load of 'Jags Mineral Water' to get through.
