Yep ^^^

Gylfi is no worse a player than Walcott or indeed Bernard.

The players decided to turn up as the manager who they love as he's a soft touch was on the verge of the sack and God forbid had that happened we might have gotten a replacement in to kick the players up the backside week in week out.

Clubs a boys club- we will revert to type in a few weeks if not next weekend once the pressure is off regardless of if Gylfi is on the pitch or not.

I would love to say I think you’re wrong but I can’t

Was dropping him the reason for the best 90 minutes so far this season? It could be just as it could be said having Tom and Gomes in the side helped move the ball quickly,he certainly deserved to be put on the bench, but that could apply to virtually the whole squad

Anyone think that he was maybe just not started yesterday because he played 2 full games for Iceland...
No don’t think so. He is probably one of the physically fittest players in our squad. He plays almost every game even when playing away on internationals. We can say what we want about him not imposing himself on the game and goes missing. But he covers more ground than any other play almost every match and and throughout the season. His stats do show this. I guess tho we want know for definite until Brighton next week. I just hope that good goal he scored doesn’t change silva mind. For me he should be coming on for last 20 mins when the opposition are tiring and there and spaces available to get him into those shooting ranges.

I hope he stays out the team for the time being as we moved the ball much quicker without him. However there will be opportunities again for him and if he plays well he should stay in the team. No player should be guaranteed a place even if they cost £45 million and £6 million a year in wages.
