Tim Sherwood was analysing the game. Said knowing siggy he will not accept not playing and will be in too see the manager and want a move if he's not playing. Was Sherwood his manager at Spurs? Should get £14 million for him

The Walcott hate is overblown. Time will obviously tell more but I think we can say pretty confidently that dropping Sigurdsson was a key change.

Overblown? Mate he was dog crap for about 3-4 months last season but never lost his place. His performance in the last game was very good but that is not what he usually produces , is even go as far as saying that was his best match in a blue shirt and he can’t be counted on to produce anywhere near that level consistently

Think we should consider playing him in a deeper role. He plays that role for Iceland, why it couldn't work for us?

Gomes - Sigurdsson
Richarlison - Iwobi - Bernard
Kean

Think he would give us a different dimension - his long shots are great as well as through balls, he is also an underrated tackler and hard worker for the team.

Iceland is equivalent of something like a League 1 team. They play him deeper, because it allows them to field 11 players.

Sigurdsson isn’t any better than Davies, Delph, Gbamin and I’d still trust the untried Beningime before wanting Sigurdsson to play in that role.

Despite what many are saying, he will have his value for the club going forward. He needed to be dropped as he form was abysmal, worse than any other player. But if he isn’t playing as the second striker, then he doesn’t start. There is no deeper role for him.

He was dog crap is overblowing it. That statement is exactly what I mean.
