....love viewing his fine goal from the TV camera in the Park End. More specifically, the shimmy that sends Jack Wilshire sliding past and then burying his nose in the Goodison turf as the rocket shot hits the Gwladys St net.

Bugs me how often he passes the ball back to their keeper or into a defender when we know he's got a rocket when he wants itCredit where its due, it was a great goal, and a really important 1.
The only thing that annoys me though, and it's a point I've made frequently. He makes it look so easy. Why doesn't he do it more often? By which I mean, shoot, take responsibility.
9 times out of 10, he tries a half hearted "I don't want it" pass through to Richarlison or out wide because 9 times out of 10,he doesn't look interested. The moment his position is threatened, he does that.
For me, he is now an impact player from the bench for the foreseeable, because quite frankly, we look much better without him.
A few things I would say.Think its a bit premature to be writing the Viking off.
He showed his quality of Saturday, who knows getting dropped might mean he improves his game, competition for places is a very good thing, but people have this idea that once somebody loses their place they should be sold, we need a squad and we have enough utterly garbo players to get rid of before people who contribute.

A few things I would say.
1) he’ll be 31 at the start of next season, I don’t think he will be happy sitting on the bench
2) it’s not as if he offers us different options, he can only really play in one position, unlike an iwobi or Richarlison coming off the bench
3) brands may feel if we can get 20mil for him, it will be good money to add to the pot
Think its a bit premature to be writing the Viking off.

I think after being largely anonymous for over 12 months, it probably is the right time to write him off myself
14 goals is anonymous? OK.
