Dropped deeper. Plenty of space around him. Can work wonders.

Crowded out, teams who defend, back to goal, no space - he's very ineffective.

Scores often against lower teams from my memory , Fulham , Cardiff , saints , etc . He has large quiet spells in games but usually has 2-3 moments in a match where he scores or creates something. Whether that’s enough or not is upto everyone’s personal opinion I guess

Richy did hog it yesterday for sure. Just refused to play it to Coleman for some reason. Missed an absolute massive chance on the top of the box (not quite zone 14 for you all keeping score). But he did bust his tail even when he was tired to help Seamus out with Zaha.

I have no idea what that means .

Richy missed a chance on top of a box in zone 14 of the pitch and somehow managed to break his tail?

I think he's a great player for us in certain games and moments, but we are becoming a bit predictable and over reliant on him.

We are being figured out as we are playing the same way with no real interchange and a lack of ideas from the front men.

We have a few options now - Iwobi can play the 10 and I think he will be a great player for us in that position in the future, and Bernard could maybe play the 10 as well..

We just can't rely and play Gylfi week in week out in the same position. Sometimes we are carrying him a little - especially away from home because of his lack of pace and the fact he doesn't always track back..

Gylfi doesn’t track back?

Summed up well.

Gets a very unjustified amount of stick in my opinion. Is he perfect? Of course not. But he was our joint top scorer last season, is one of our hardest workers and gets assists.

He was very poor last week, but will be good tomorrow. Stand on me toes.
That could easily be a description of Rooney the season before last. That doesn't mean he was boss and should have been starting every week.

He is a good player but he doesn't consistently get involved and the problem is if he is quiet he is a luxury who leaves us short on midfield and affects the way the entire team plays. I would like to see us transition to a 433 I don't see why Sig has have a fixed number ten position.

Shouldn't have been starting every game. but even up to last season would've been a good player to bring on to create a bit of world class magic if we were in trouble.

I don't think there's any question he will be picked today. He picks up goals so there's no way we are dropping our joint top scorer from last season.

What we need to see from him is a lot more than last week, get more involved. Let's see if he can pick up a rapport with Kean.

Top scorer last season, and runs more than most.
I am really baffled as to why he receives so much criticism and calls to dropped?

Second most big chances created last season behind Digne as well:
