Maybe. Siggy will still be here. So let's hope he does more this season
Bernard I like but doesn't do enough on the pitch. Very skillful but for me too slight for the physical side of the premier. Telling that Carlo hardly played him. But another who will be a squad player this season. With the new signings coming in big season for the likes of Bernard and Gomes. Both showed they can be skilful important players for us but both very inconsistent

If he can go back to the season before and slot 13 goals that'll be fine. He won't be asked to play in a midfield two again anyway so he can't be worse than last season.

He can only play in a 10 position. Carlo has shown he doesn’t want to deploy that system and if he does he has the perfect fit for the position......James. Siguardisson’s days are numbered and he knows it. Hence the MLS link.

Yeah but he may play him as the attacking mid in a 3, so basically the no. 10 in attack. We'll just see, he still fancies him i get the feeling, much more than he fancies bernard for example. If we stick to 4-4-2 he won't get near the team and be pointless retaining him. But carlo is now getting players he wants rather than making do with what he has, so anything can happen.
 
Can’t blame the player. It was Koeman who wanted him. It was the club who paid more than double his value & ridiculous wages.

Let’s just hope he’s still keen to play regular football & keep his place in the Iceland team. Nobody in their right mind walks away from a contract they could never dream of getting ever again unless there is another motivation.

Yeh the MLS story is not good news. If he wants to run his contract down and sit on the bench for 2 years we're screwed.

Still the same player, just blagged a few goals, and missed a bag of penalties. Don't be fooled.

But you're right, he can't be worse, as he'll likely be on the bench!

Still, think he was the first midfielder to get that many since Beardsley, or some stat like that with cottee/Richarlison.
