Sig is a player who functions when the team functions he's not a playmaker as such more a player of moments, strikes and assists he doesn't run a game as such so when he's not doing the prior two he can be anonymous. There is an argument for changing the system at times and leaving him out for certain matches with more options this year. But he still has a big role to play.

Saw that he earned the 4th most points of any midfielder in the Prem last season on fantasy.premierleague.com but didn't stick him in my team as I remembered the cranks on here telling me how crap he is.

Wasn't great today, shame his effort was cleared off the line.

I don't think he was any worse than Richarlison, Bernard or Lewin.

Palace defended well today and forced us out wide repeatedly because we couldn't compete with them in the air.

Not sure his skill set fit the system Silva plays, a bit lost today.
He’s not really a playmaker, runs around a bit but doesn’t seem to have a defence splitting pass or a guaranteed finish.
Hope Iwobi can do that role next week.

As mentioned last season, it's these games where we need a player that makes use of our possession.

There'll be more open games he'll be great in. But for the games he's not effective in, he's needs competition.

Pretty much every position does apart from his.
