No. He is closer to a midfield player with a decent number of goals.

Not even on planet Ricky Rider is he a striker.

Because he’s not a striker and should be judged as the creative hub he’s supposed to be, which he clearly isn’t

He’s in the hole to be unlocking teams like palace but he’s anonymous for large parts of most games because he lacks desire

This sentence is pretty odd. 13 league goals from midfield is better than decent. You'd of been better saying he is a striker if your interpritation is that 13 goals is only ''decent''

Then he's an average player because he gets few touches, isn't creating nearly enough from open play and isn't moving the ball up field. Treat him as a second striker type player and he's doing a good job with the goals. Treat him as a midfielder and he's not doing a lot of things he should be and the goals are masking that.
