Yeah that's why I'm quite "meh" about it. You can excuse a bit of the gulf in terms of Swansea being gash, but Barkley is simply the better player.

Sigurdsson is an OK replacement, nothing more. At least he can take a corner.

Well it's not as though Barkley has not had enough time to decide over his future, and has instead opted to dilly-dally. Koeman and co can't wait around forever whilst Barkley makes up his mind (further reinforcing his amoebic decision-making skills anyway)
