His goals/assists return in the past 6 or 7 games has been brilliant. Please that he's hit his form and will only get better.

Despite playing similar positions, they have very different traits. IMO siggy works much harder than Ross and while he might not be as good at dribbling, he has a similar eye for goal and is arguably a better finisher. His set pieces are undoubtedly better. We have complained for years that our corners don’t get past the first man (with Ross taking many of them), well they do now.

He also managed to sign his contract which sets them apart as well.

He really is, Ross can actually do it from open play. Gylfi is yet to really run a game or show much creativity from open play

I’ll be honest, although I thought we paid way over the odds for siguardsson, I was delighted we got him. I think his improvement is not only down to Sam and the coaches, but also him attaining top fitness. Remember the whole of his pre-season was ruined, waiting to join us and not having a proper pre-season like his teammates.

It's still difficult to tell if how much actual quality he has outside of shooting and set pieces, but I like that he puts himself about a bit and doesn't hide.

I'd also give him a run on penalties.
