Hes played about 2 games at number 10, most of the time hes been stuck on the wing playing for clowns.

Can not wait to vault all the trumpets when Iceland and Klaassen are ruining tings next season.

I love the disdain for our best attacking player. The best is the made up stuff like he doesn’t work hard, he doesn’t score out of the box, he doesn’t score from open play, etc. Almost better is when people get mad because he doesn’t hold the ball. Like that’s some prerequisite for being good. I also enjoy ignoring any history prior to Everton, like he’s some new player.

Hope he has a good summer, really looking forward to seeing him coming back fresh and revitalised. Forget the season just gone, he will justify the fee next season, of that there is no doubt, hopefully Maroc and Marcel have him based firmly in the plans for the first 11 next season

Great player. Works hard. Lots of skill.

Came burdened with expectation due to a massively inflated fee and a protracted transfer saga which led to him missing a pre-season and was then thrust in to an horrendously disorganised team with no clear instruction on his role or even where he was playing. Always shows for the ball, can score from anywhere, a good passer, good on set pieces and a tireless work rate. The fact he is slow won't matter at all in a well drilled team filled with individuals who compliment one another.

If I was a manager coming in to take over this team (which i know doesn't mean anything as it is just my opinion) I would be stunned at how imbalanced we are and how much surgery is required. But, taking our talented youngsters out of the equation, the only players you feel you could definitely build any kind of team around would be Pickford, Seamus and Gylfi. Yes others could go in depending on what kind of way the manager wants to play but those three could go into any team. And Gylfi has a good footballing brain (which unfortunately is a trait that is lacking in most of our squad even if they are good players).

He can and will, he hasnt played well because he has been managed by Koeman and Fat head Sam, but the ability is there for certain
