The amount of people on here giving him a hard time, yet if you go to the Klaassen thread the consensus is that he’s just misunderstood and is actually a great player.
Unbelievable.
Wonder if they're all for real sometimes.
It`s due to the fact that Klaasen has hardly played, so people forget how crap he is too.The amount of people on here giving him a hard time, yet if you go to the Klaassen thread the consensus is that he’s just misunderstood and is actually a great player.

The issue with Swansea is that nobody takes them seriously. By that I mean, unless your name is Sam Allardyce, no manager sets up his team to stop Swansea. They set up to play their own game. So Siggy finds himself with more space and time than he would in an Everton or Spurs team. Even then his record from open play wasn't stand out.Yes, up until a certain level and in international football, which is slower paced and less physical than our league.
In England, he has done well in a bottom half Premier League team and flopped when stepping up to us and Spurs.

Same happened with Bolasie when he was out injured lol
In fairness there's a reason for that. Spurs saw how effective the Pienaar/Baines axis was for us and bought him to do the same thing with Bale. But Bale developed as a player and ended up taking the position intended for Pienaar.Pienaar flopped at Spurs mate, but he was class for us in a system that benefitted his skills and placed some class around him?
Agreed, but he`s still an average player, who scores the odd worldee.Siggy is better than Klassen in every aspect. Those who can’t see it should quit football and watch Cricket instead.
Plus, Spurs didn`t have a full back like Baines at the time, to compliment him.In fairness there's a reason for that. Siggurdson and Coleman are the only 2 players I’d have in the starting 11 next season.
Totally agree..Gylfi will be getting double figures in both goals and assists next season if he’s played centrally and avoids signicant injury. He’ll do so because he’s one of our best players. I don’t know what people are expecting from him.
