Nothing wrong with playing Sig and Rooney together as two "10s" ( though I hate using numbers to denote roles).

If we do it though we need pace from deep (Davies), wide (Lookman or Bolasie) and a mobile front man to disrupt the oppo defence (DCL).

All is not lost. Let's relax.

Agree with the whole post other than Davies being put in as pacey, really.

I think it's more his "energy" we need, don't really see him as particularly quick.

Yeah fair, perhaps energetic would have been better.

Would you chuck someone else in or stick with our hair bandied midfielder?

Tomathy every day of the week, the rest aren't exactly pacy either, and he's probably more energetic and mobile going forward.

It's running with ball that we've missed the most. Gylfi doesn't do it, Rooney hasn't the pace for it and Davy one touch, the inclination.

Two genuine wide players or one and Davies is a must for every game now.

Poor Gylfi must feel like a bad dream de ja vu. Signed for a team that sold their superstar and then bought every cm they could convince to come and force him to a wing.
